Prospective students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. and in our research are encouraged to apply to the UVA Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program (BIMS) program.

First year BIMS PhD students, please reach out directly to Dr. Spencer to set up rotations.

We are looking for undergraduates who:

- can commit to a research lab until graduation

- can commit to at least 15 hrs or research/week (in blocks of at least 3 hrs)

-excel in classes related to our research
